We hereby inform you that it is not allowed to transport animals in our car.
You are only permitted to drive on the roads of the island of Ibiza, and taking the car or scooter to places like Formentera is prohibited.
It is important to never leave anything in the vehicle. As in all tourist areas, thefts can occur. To prevent damage or breakage to windows and locks, it is better not to lock the car.
Remember that our fuel policy is full – full. If you return the car and it is not (completely) full, we will charge the missing liters + 25€ for the service (scooters 2€ per missing line + 10€ service).
*Except at the end of the season if you have received a notification from our staff.
In case of an accident with another party, you are required to fill out the damage report and send it within 24 hours by email (cora@motoluis.com) or via WhatsApp (+34 672 07 75 00).
If the vehicle does not have a spare tire and a flat/broken tire occurs, we offer free assistance during our business hours, if the client has purchased our All-in-One insurance. Otherwise, if the customer has excess liability, they are responsible for the costs.
If the car suffers new damage during your rental, we ask you to inform us ASAP so we can order f.e. spare partes (this is also your obligation if you have purchased the All in One insurance). In case of breakdown, we recommend first contacting our head office for assistance. If your insurance is not comprehensive, the customer is responsible for the costs, which may be higher during holidays or at night. The breakdown assistance is provided by an external company, which can only tow our vehicle and cannot offer a replacement car.

If you see an orange warning light, it indicates a problem that requires attention but is not an emergency. It could be caused by:
Low tire pressure (you can inflate it at a gas station or in our garage).
A broken light.
Send us a WhatsApp with a photo of the light and the license plate, and we will respond as soon as possible.
Make sure the fuel tank is full before taking the rented vehicle. If you have any doubts, you can always consult our staff before leaving the parking lot. They will be happy to assist and check it with you. Please note that we cannot accept complaints after the rental period has ended.

If you have not taken our All in One insurance, we kindly ask you to take photos and videos of the vehicle before leaving the parking lot. We will also carry out our own inspection to ensure transparency and saftety for both parties.
We kindly ask you to keep the vehicle clean and remove any trash before returning it. Shake out the beach towels well before placing them in the car, and avoid sitting on the seats with a wet swimsuit, as this can stain the upholstery. Cleaning these stains requires a longer process: the seat must be cleaned wet and then the car needs to be left in the sun for several hours to dry. Standard cleaning is included, but never a thorough cleaning.
?? In Ibiza we have some beautiful pine trees… but they can be a little sneaky! They release sticky resin that can damage your car’s paintwork. And if that weren’t enough, there are also little bird artists ? in the branches who like to drop “creative surprises” that aren’t good for the paint either. ? Please avoid parking under the trees, so your car stays as shiny and beautiful as when you picked it up.
We kindly advise and request that you do not drive near the salt ponds in the Las Salinas or Es Cavallet area. Salt is highly corrosive, and if the vehicle were to fall into a salt pond, the renter would be fully responsible for all damages. In many such cases, the vehicle is declared a total loss due to the severe damage caused by the salt.
? IMPORTANT INFORMATION – VEHICLE KEY Take good care of the vehicle key. It is not covered by any insurance. ➡️ Please: Do not lose, break, or get it wet Keep it in a safe place If the key is lost or damaged, replacement costs will be charged to the renter. ? Important: If you lose the key, do not leave or abandon the vehicle – it may be stolen. Please contact us immediately.
BALIZA V16 The V16 emergency beacon is located in your vehicle’s glove compartment. Please make sure to locate it before taking the car. If you cannot find it, kindly inform us, as a missing beacon upon return will be charged at €50.
Please note that this beacon is intended for use in case of emergency only. It is not a toy, and we kindly ask you not to use it unnecessarily, as the batteries have been installed to ensure it is fully operational should you need it and to help you avoid potential fines.
? IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT USING THE JEEP When parking the vehicle, make sure to: Leave the gear lever in position “P” (Parking). Check that the engine is completely turned off, as the vehicle may be hybrid and it can be very quiet when the engine is still running.
? Side Mirrors Whenever possible, fold the side mirrors when parking the vehicle, as it often happens that vehicles are returned with damaged mirrors. Doing so can help prevent this situation.
