
Terms and Conditions
INCLUDED: VAT, all risk insurance with excess, young driver without extra charge and free road assistance 24 hours (if you have paid for the All in One insurance).
NOT INCLUDED: Petrol, extreme dirt cleaning, excess in case of damage (see below at insurance). It is not allowed to smoke inside of the rental car and transport animals.
PETROL: The car is full of petrol and you should return it the same way. If petrol is missing you will be charged at the end of the rent + 20 euro´s service charge (scooters + 10€ service refilling fuel)

If you have not cancelled the excess on your vehicle and you wish a member of our staff to revise the vehicle, you will have to return it at our office during our opening hours.
BOOKINGS WITHOUT TIME SCHEDULE
If you do not have your flight times when making your reservation, the entire days of arrival and departure will be blocked. If in the following 14 days from the date of your reservation, you provide us with the exact time, you will only pay for the hours you will use the vehicle. If you make a reservation in season (summer) and you cannot give us the time schedule, the full days are always charged in this case.
DELIVERY IN PRIVATE VILLAS, HOTELS OUT OF THE CITY CENTER
80€/each way, min. rental 7 days and always on request.
Whenever the return of a vehicle is in a villa/hotel, it will be established with our staff where the keys will be left (at reception in the case of a hotel) so that we have the vehicle at 9 am on the day of the end of the contract.
SERVICE HOTELS TALAMANCA, PLAYA DEN BOSSA, FIGUERETAS: On request. SAN ANTONIO CENTRE: free transfer to our office
EXTRAS:
Extra driver and boosters 4€/day, max 40€ per rent, baby/child seats 6€/day, max. 60€ per rent.
RETURN IN ADVANCE OR LATE DROP OFF
If you wish to return the car before planned and you notify us 72 hours before we will return the amount of days that you have not benefitted. If you do not return the car on the date and time stipulated in your contract, Moto Luis is entitled to charge a service fee + the rental amount of the additional days and a supplement if we have to give the next customer an upgrade to a more expensive car model.
RESERVATION OR CONTRACT EXTENSION:
As long as we have availability. The current price is always paid at this time.
CREDIT CARD:
You need a credit card at rental beginning. You can pay the rental cash but we will ask you for a valid credit card for petrol, damage, loss of keys… If you only have a debit card we will charge you an extra car deposit (+/- 200 Euros depending on the car model). This will be refunded at the end of the rental if you have returned the car full of fuel, on the stated day and time etc. If you have accepted our excess we will charge this amount on your card. This amount will be refunded if there is no new damage to the car, full of fuel and on the stated date and time.
PAYMENT:
At the moment of booking or at rental beginning. If you wish to pay with an American Express Card you will pay 5% on top of the total rental amount.
FINES:
Traffic fines will be charged to the main driver and the company will have the right to charge the renting party an administration fee for this service (30€).
HELMETS:
2 helmets are included in the rental price. Loss of helmet is not covered by any insurance and has to be paid. The cost is approximate 30€. The loss of the key is neither included at any insurance and the cost is between 10 – 40€ for scooters and for cars depending on the official cost of the car dealer.
IN CASE OF CANCELLATION:
In case of not turning up for your reservation or not having cancelled a minimum of 48 hrs before, there will be a charge of one day rental (from the price list in this moment). If you cancel up to 48 hrs before, there will be no charge for cancellation. Except for the months of June, July, August and September for automatic cars, Jeeps, convertibles, people carriers and other luxury cars. If you cancel with at least 30 days in advance no cost. From 30-15 days a 10% of the total rental amount and less than 15 days in advance a 20% of the total of the rental (one day rental rate is the minimum always). If you wish to cancel your booking you will have to send an email to info@motoluis.com. COVID-19/cancellation conditions: you can always cancel FREE of charge up to 48 hours before the car pick-up date. This also applies to luxury cars (automatic machines, Jeeps, convertibles, minibuses, …) if it concerns a valid covid-19 reason (e.g. if your flight or hotel was cancelled), these luxury cars must send proof of this. You can also change/move your booking for FREE under the same conditions, even if you don’t have a new date yet.
OUR RECOMMENDATION:
We kindly ask you to leave nothing inside of the car to prevent theft. We recommend you to leave the car unlocked to avoid damage to the car.
ELECTRIC CARS:
The car must be returned with the 2 charging cables and the charging card you receive from us on day 1. If they get lost the client pays for the cost. Also the drop off must be with a minimum load of 50%, if not you pay one day rental extra on top (desk rate).
EXCESS IN CASE OF DAMAGE:
The excess amount will be charged on your credit card at rental beginning. Once the car has been returned without any new damage we will refund this amount in 48 hours max. If there is new damage and the cost for reparation turns out less than we will refund the difference.
Return/drop off at the airport: If you have taken out the excess on your vehicle and you wish a member of our staff to revise the vehicle, you will have to return it at our office /warehouse near the airport, in office hours (09-19.00 hours) and Sundays from 09-13.00 hrs or in San Antonio from Monday to Saturday 09-20.00 hours and Sundays 09-13.00 hours (in summer). If the drop off/return is out of these opening hours, in the case of damage, the car and damage will be photographed where the vehicle is returned, considering the said photographs as valid proof. The client will be held responsible for the damage until our staff pick up the vehicle which will be done as soon as possible. The company will inform the client by email attaching the photographs taken in the same parking and position.

In case you have a new damage during your rental please note you have to inform us in max 24 hours (although you have contracted our all in one insurance) by sending photos and the plate number to cora@motoluis.com and info@motoluis.com
