Rental Insurance: What Does the All-in-One cover?
Shall I say yes to insurance or not? WITH OR WITHOUT THE ALL-IN-ONE INSURANCE?
If you do not take out our All-in-One Insurance, you will be responsible for all new damages (whether caused by accidental damage or an incident). You will also be responsible for any costs or expenses arising from a breakdown, roadside assistance, recovery, towing, etc. Damage to or punctures of wheels and tyres, as well as damage to rims, are not covered, nor is the cost of recovery or towing. The excess amount will be charged to your card on the first day. This amount will be refunded within a maximum of 72 working hours, provided that there is no new damage to the vehicle and the fuel tank is returned full.
AIRPORT RETURNS WITH AN EXCESS
If you return the car at the airport using our self-service return, we will photograph the vehicle for any damage without moving it from the place where you left it. These photographs will be considered valid evidence of the vehicle’s condition at the time of return. The customer remains responsible for the vehicle until it has been collected by one of our employees. You will receive an email if any new damage is identified.
DAMAGE DURING THE RENTAL (WITH OR WITHOUT ALL-IN-ONE INSURANCE)
If the vehicle suffers any new damage during your rental, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can arrange for any necessary replacement parts without delay. You are also required to report the damage if you have taken out our All-in-One Insurance. If you have an accident involving another vehicle or third party, you must complete a European Accident Statement (amicable accident report). Please email us at cora@motoluis.com / info@motoluis.com within a maximum of 24 hours. This reporting obligation also applies if you have taken out our All-in-One Insurance. If you fail to notify us, administration charges may apply. Please remember to attach photographs of the damage. Thank you very much! 😉
ACCIDENTS – VEHICLE REPLACEMENT
If the vehicle is no longer safe or possible to drive following an accident, Moto Luis will do everything possible to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. If you require or wish to have a replacement vehicle, you will need to pay the new rental charge based on the rate applicable at that time.

- Locking the keys inside the vehicle.
- Damage caused by salt water.
- Towing following reckless or dangerous driving, or assistance on unpaved roads or roads that are unsuitable for the vehicle.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
We strongly recommend that you do not leave any belongings inside the vehicle. To help prevent damage to windows or locks, we recommend leaving the vehicle unlocked whenever possible. Please note that the insurance never covers personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
