Minimum age to rent a car in Ibiza with Moto Luis
Moto Luis allows to rent to all those drivers who are at least 21 years old and at least two years of experience. Unlike other car rental companies, in Moto Luis all those drivers who exceed that age can rent a vehicle for their vacations in Ibiza without extra charges or high franchises. It is not uncommon to find companies in the sector that offer a rental clause that in some cases is applied to drivers who are up to 25 years old.
What are the “Young” clauses and why don’t we apply them in Moto Luis?
The so-called “Young driver” or “Young driver” clauses are all those that most large car rental companies apply to drivers with less than 25 years of age or with less than 4 years of license. Some even offer rentals to drivers with less than one year of license in which the “Novel driver” clause is included. The surcharges for being between 18 and 25 years can range from € 5 – € 28 per day, depending on the company, to which sometimes you also have to add an additional license for card age less than 4 years. To this we must always add the deductions in account paid by the franchise, which in some low-cost companies are around € 1,000 in economic models, regardless of the age and age of the card.
In Moto Luis we do not apply any extra charge to those drivers with age over 21 years and a minimum of two years of driving license. Only the minimum age is extended to 23 or 25 years and the age to 3 years for rentals of higher power models or higher and higher range, such as Mercedes, Minis, BMW, Range Rover and Jeeps. Therefore, if you are under 23 years old and only two years old, you can rent the following car and motorcycle models at Moto Luis: Fiat Panda, Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500 Glass Fixed, Fiat 500 Sunroof, Fiat 500 Cabriolet, Peugeot 208 automatic, the electric Renault Zoe and P 208e, Suzuki Swift hybrid and other small cars. And, in addition, with a franchise of only € 400 that can be canceled by customers with more than 25 years and a minimum of 3 years of license.
