The street markets are for Winter too
One of the most popular attractions of Ibiza are its street markets, very numerous during the summer months. If you like to buy unique designs or rescue the second-hand treasures from oblivion, do not give up on it during your winter getaway to Ibiza.In low season there’s also place for the street markets. Discover it with the following weekly appointments that you will not want to miss.
Sant Jordi flea market
It’s the Ibiza flea market par excellence: here you will find clothes, discs, furniture, antiques, books, rarieties and various objects… The atmosphere of Sant Jordi’s street market is relaxed because anyone can put their place with just a previous booking and a very diverse public. It is held every Saturday at the old racecourse of Sant Rafael, from 08:00 a.m. to 15:00h p.m.
Las Dalias Hippy Market
The most famous hippy market on the island is open all winter and has become an excellent plan to enjoy on Saturday mornings, with live music at noon and attractions for children. The number of stands is smaller than in summer, but you will still find fashion, complements, crafts and local gastronomic products. Schedule: every Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
Forada Market
Every Saturday this market with a marked local accent is held. They sell fruit and vegetables of the island, homemade pastries, jams, sweets made with carob, traditional crafts… A good opportunity to buy island products and get to know their producers first-hand. And after the market, you can always eat the little dishes of Can Tixedó, located just in front of it. The Forada market is held every Saturday of the year from 10:00h a.m. to 16:00 p.m.
Sant Joan de Labritja street market
Sundays in the morning this small town in the north of Ibiza is full of animation thanks to its charming street market, where you will find both organic products and jewelry, complements, crafts, homemade sweets and natural cosmetics, in addition to live music. It is organized from 10:00h to 16:00h. You will like it!
