Two routes to see the almond trees in bloom in Ibiza

North Route : from Sant Antoni to Aigües Blanques

This circular route passes through the most visited valley in Ibiza during these weeks : el pla de Corona. On this tour we suggest that you first head northwest following the San Antonio-Forada-Santa Gertrudis-Sant Mateu route, then continue between wooded roads to Sant Carles de Peralta, where the Morna valley opens dotting almond trees on the way to the Aigües Blanques beach. Once you have reached this point, you have to go back towards Santa Agnes. Discover where to eat and other recommendations in our article on what to see and do in Santa Agnes during the flowering of almond trees. When you return, take the PM-812 roas towards Sant Antoni.

South Route : from Sant Antoni to Es Cubells

This route is much quieter, because it does not have any valley that approaches in number of almond trees to that of the El pla de Corona. However, it is a nice alternative route that includes a delicious meal by the sea and beautiful photos for your Instagram profile. The itinerary begins in San Antoni, in the direction of San Agusti, and continues along the road that leads to Cala Bassa.

Here, the almond trees bloom along the road as they do further south, in the network of secondary roads that unite Sant Josep de Sa Talaia and the PM-803 road with Es Cubells, Cala des Jondal and Es Bol Nou. It is precisely on this beach that we recommend you to stop and enjoy the delicious rice and dishes of the Sa Caleta restaurant, which is open all year. After lunch, you can return to the San Antoni area through Benimussa, a road that starts a few meters from Sant Josep gas station.
