5 places for kids during your Ibiza holiday II

La Paloma

This restaurant is one of our favourite to head to with children. It is located on the centre of the island, a few metres away from the Sant Llorenç church and it has one of the most beautiful gardens on the island. A part of this garden has been prepared with swings with children in mind. If you go there for lunch, we recommend you try their pizzas (small but delicious) and their hummus. And any of the desserts!

Cala Llonga

A good choice if you travel to Ibiza with children. Located on the east coast, not too far from Santa Eularia, this beach is family orientated. Its gentle slope makes its waters safe for children to swim in and it also has pedalboats for you to explore the quiet coast. Next to the beach, there is a children’s play area. Also, during the summer months there is a market which begins at 6 pm that usually includes shows or activities for kids.

Santa Eularia beach

This urban beach is 300 metres in length and is very adequate for families for two reasons: it has safe waters for children and it also offers them various water activities such as sailing for beginners, banana boats, canoeing, paddle surfe and pedalboats. Also, it is the first non-smoking beach in the Balearic islands, so children will not find cigarette ends when playing in the sand.

Natural Pau

Its extensive and pleasant garden with a children’s play area make it one of the best places to head towards in the San Antonio Bay to have a dinner with the family. On Natural Pau’s menu there are healthy disher such as piadinas, homemade pizzas, salads, freshly squeezed juices and delicious desserts, amongst other options.

Cap Blanc Aquarium

This small and modest marine aquarium is in a natural cave where formerly fishermen used to breed locust. Nowadays it is a rescue centre for endangered marine species and, in its waters, you will usually see the most common Ibizan marine species such as groupers, lobsters, conger eels, congers, rays or sea breams. During the summer, on Friday and Saturday evenings they serve sardines on their pleasant terrace. It is highly recommended to make a booking.
