Your most frequently asked questions for this summer
Has Moto Luis opened?
At Moto Luis we have been working from home during these months of lockdown and managing your reservations as well as answering questions that have arisen since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since July 1st we will be open to the public and offer our usual schedules.
If I go on holiday to Ibiza, do I have to go into quarantine?
On 1st July the obligation to quarantine visitors who arrive in Ibiza during the lockdown ended.
What happens if I book now but my company changes my holiday dates?
We know that at present it is difficult to be sure when we can go on holiday or, if for some reason related to the pandemic, we will have to cancel or change our travel dates. That is why at Moto Luis we make it easy for our clients to cancel their reservations due to the pandemic without any penalty as long as they give us 48 hours’ notice before their expected arrival.
Is it compulsory for car rental companies to apply security protocols?
Yes, car rentals must follow health and safety protocols recommended by the WHO and health authorities. All the process of delivery and return of vehicles, as well as the direct booking or rental process that takes place at our offices will strictly follow health requirements for car rental companies and businesses open to the public.
Will beaches in Ibiza be open?
From May 25th beaches in Ibiza are open for recreational use. Health authorities have confirmed that there are no indications that bathing in the sea is unsafe as long as social distancing rules are followed (at least two metres) between groups of bathers to avoid possible contagion. Although it is currently anticipated that there will be little presence of the virus in Europe during the summer, the WHO recommends caution in order to avoid unwanted outbreaks. So the answer is yes, you will be able to swim in the sea and enjoy our beautiful beaches more peacefully than ever.
Is it a good idea to go on holiday to Ibiza this summer?
Absolutely, yes. Especially if you like a quieter Ibiza and you are a lover of good food, beaches and culture. Those who know Ibiza well know that this summer is going to be very special, because it will look like the Ibiza of the 70s and 80s, more authentic and less crowded. So if you are travelling with your family or as a couple, do not hesitate: this year DO NOT SKIP IBIZA.
